Flower Beauty Lip Suede Velvet Lip Chubby - Coral Floral VC5

Hello Blogger and Internet readers! In this post, I want to talk about one of the colors I got from the new Flower Beauty Lip Suede in Coral Floral. This Lip Suedes retail for $7.98 USD and you can find them at Walmart stores and Walmart.com. Let's take a close look after the jump!

The Lip Suedes are definitely Flower Beauty's version of the ever so popular twist up crayon lip pencils EXCEPT these are matte finish. The only other brand I have seen do this thus far is Revlon and this Lip Suede is definitely a good competitor!

If compared to Revlon's Matte Balm, the Flower Lip Suede for me, did not go on as creamy and I definitely had to go over a few times to get an opaque color on my lips. It's not balmy, so use a lip balm before applying the Lip Suede. It gives a LOVELY matte finish without being TOO drying, but a lip balm underneath is HIGHLY recommended as it accentuates dry patches on your lips as you will see in the photo below.

If not eating or drinking much, this product will last all day, but let's be real. Doesn't matter if you have something on your lips, girls gotta EAT! It does STAIN the lips so that there still will be color there even after eating and drinking.

Overall, if you love lip crayons and love a MATTE finish. I would recommend trying out Flower Beauty Lip Suede Velvet lips chubbies!

Let me know if you have tried these products before!

Flower Beauty Perfect Canvas Creme Foundation - CF4

Hello again Blogger and Internet friends! After many weeks, now I have a new post to share! I hope it will be the first of a good bit more to come. In this post I want to write about Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore. For Spring 2014, she came out with some new products, the first I will write about is her Crème Foundation. Let's take a look!

Flower Crème Foundation retails for $12.98 at Walmart stores and gives 0.32oz of product. There are four shades available and I purchased the darkest shade.

As far as packaging goes, just like the Pressed Powder, there is NO mirror in this compact. It's just the product on one side and a sponge on the other that was too firm to pick up hardly ANY product. I used a foundation brush, or ANY brush to get this product on your face.

For performance, it did VERY well for a cream foundation. I do not go for foundation formulas like this because they tend to be TOO moisturizing for my oily skin. I was pleasantly surprised at how LITTLE oil was on my face after about 7 hours of wear with NO primer. Using a powder on top, helped to eliminate oil during future uses. It gave me pretty much full coverage without have to build the product with too many layers. For me, one good layer with another JUST on problems areas was enough.

Do I recommend this product? Yes and No. No, because I think that since the sponge was not useful, you are going to have to find a different makeup tool to apply this product. It not like a squeeze tube that you can easily get product from packaging to the face. Yes, because if you like cream foundation without the heavy/ cakey feeling, then give Flower Beauty a chance. It's accessible at most Walmart stores and Walmart.com.

If you are interested to see me apply this foundation as well as ALL the other Flower Beauty Spring 2014 items I purchased then click the video below!

Drink Up!
