Eden BodyWorks Coconut Leave-In Conditioner & Coconut Shea Pudding Soufflé

Hello all the Internet makeup junkies! Happy New Year 2014! To start the year, we have a different type of post for you all ALL about my new HAIR OBSESSION: Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea products! Let's get started, shall we?

So, a while ago now I bought the Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea All Natural Pudding Soufflé & Leave-In Conditioner and I am IN LOVE. You guys, these products are SERIOUSLY saving my hair BIG TIME.
A little about my hair currently is that I am growing it out. Stretching my relaxer, transitioning, or being cheap, call it what you want, but the truth is that I have a BIT of new growth that I am working with. I went on a search for a new leave in to moisturize my hair because of the winter cold and my current leave-in was NOT doing it for my ever growing length of curls. So I got these and they WORK!

Coconut Shea Leave-In Conditioner

The EDEN BodyWorks All Natural Coconut Shea Leave In Conditioner ($8.49 USD) gives me LIFE! It's a super creamy and hydrating product. As far as consistency comparison, it really reminds me of the As I Am Leave-In Conditioner, but Eden is lighter. The smell is AMAZING but not very strong,  but I think the intensity will vary from person to person. I like to apply and steam my hair under a dryer with a plastic cap and my hair detangles like a DREAM. I didn't know I could have so much fun combing my hair!

The EDEN BodyWorks All Natural Coconut Shea Pudding Soufflé ($8.49 USD) is a light fluffy, creamy mousse moisturizer, but I use it as a styler as well. It gives me light to medium hold, but ALWAYS gives my hair the most AMAZING amount of softness and natural shine after my hair dries. It has the SAME scent as the leave-in, a very sweet coconut aroma. If I had to choose between this and the leave-in, I think I would chose this. It only wins by the fact that I can double this up as my leave-in in a pinch but it definitely does better as an added moisturizer for the hair. My hair has been SO thirsty and dry this winter and these products, but especially the soufflé is JUST want the hair doctor ordered!

Pretty good definition, right?

So I hope you all enjoyed this post! Feel free to share and leave me a comment! Have you tried these products? What are you thoughts on them? Hated them or loved them?

Thanks for reading!

Drink up, beauties!

abluenigerian - a journey in makeup and hair with sprinkles of random here and there

Hello everyone in the Blogger Universe!

I decided to give the blog thing a go around again. I have been itching to either revive my old blog or just start over. I figured it would be more exciting and daring to start from point zero and work my way up. I will still have my first blog up TimeNPatience for reference and just for kicks.

With this blog it will focus on the same topics which is makeup, hair, and pretty much whatever interests me when I decided to write the post!

Ok, now I wanted to explain this blog name: abluenigerian. It's not because I'm depressed, and it's not that I am Nigerian. The name actually comes from my lack of knowledge of alcoholic drinks > <.
It started in Kansas (random, but true) and I got a text from a friend saying she liked White Russians, and me, not knowing what she was talking about immediately texted back that I liked Blue Nigerians.
Long story short, I learned some things about drinks and a new trademark name was BORN!

I do hope that everyone that subscribes to this blog will enjoy their time and information that I will have to give!
